Great news for fans! Hulu has renewed the series Chad Powers for a second season, and Nasim Pedrad will be back to play the main character.

Zootopia 2 has quickly become a huge box-office success, earning more worldwide than the 2025 Superman movie in just one week. This is a remarkable achievement, especially considering the current unpredictable state of the entertainment industry.

News of the sequel was confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter, with Wan telling the outlet:

Even if you accept the show’s basic idea, its scares haven’t resonated with everyone, and even dedicated Stephen King fans have noticed. The series is gaining a reputation for relying heavily on computer-generated imagery (CGI) for its scares, falling into a frustrating pattern in horror and TV where CGI is overused when practical effects would be more effective.

This week at CCXP, where ScreenRant is reporting, a new look at the upcoming 2026 Supergirl movie has been unveiled. A recent video revealed the full costume worn by actress Milly Alcock. You can see it below!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Paramount Pictures is once again working with Blumhouse on a new Paranormal Activity movie. James Wan, who has been involved with the franchise for years, is also joining the project through his production company, Atomic Monster, which recently merged with Blumhouse. Wan shared a statement about his return to the series.

I saw Gwen Stefani on the red carpet this past Tuesday at the New York premiere of her new movie, Oh. What. Fun. She looked amazing! The character of Chad Powers is inspired by segments from Omaha Productions’ ESPN series, “Eli’s Places.” In those segments, Eli Manning would use disguises and special effects to secretly try out for the Penn State football team as a walk-on player. Eli Manning is still involved with the show as an executive producer, alongside his brother Peyton Manning and producer Rob Powell, who co-created the series with Michael Waldron.

A heartwarming moment during the Dancing with the Stars holiday special showed professional dancer Emma Slater dancing again with her two most recent partners, comedian Andy Richter and actor Reginald VelJohnson. The playful choreography, with background dancers circling Andy and Reggie, highlighted how much Slater deserves a highly skilled partner in season 35.

Both viewers and critics seem to think the first part of Stranger Things season 5 is among the show’s best. If the final episodes are as good as these first four, the series will have a satisfying conclusion.
