IDW Dark, the horror-focused branch of the comic book publisher IDW, is releasing Smile: For the Camera, a story set before the events of the Smile movie. However, this series isn’t meant to reveal how the creepy, controlling creature at the heart of the story came to be; it’s a different kind of story altogether.

Ariana Grande has a role in the newest Meet the Parents movie as a character named Olivia Jones, and her part in the story is largely a secret. However, during an appearance on Amy Poehler’s Good Hang podcast, Grande shared that she underwent significant physical training for the film. She explained that this was necessary to properly portray her character, and she had recently finished filming Focker when she spoke about it.
Directed by Nick Cave and featuring original music by Cave and Warren Ellis, The Death of Bunny Munro is a wild, moving, and sometimes uncomfortable look at how trauma affects families and the complex bonds between fathers and sons. It’s been described as a bit like Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, but set in Sussex. Cave portrays Bunny Munro as incredibly charismatic, but also deeply troubled, unstable, and self-centered, and his life really falls apart after the death of his son’s mother, Sarah Greene.

They seem right at home, but the new photo hints that their Jumanji adventures might be spilling over into the real world, showing them standing on a city street.
The upcoming Clayface movie in 2026 could be a great opportunity to expand the world of Gotham City, but it doesn’t seem like DC Universe will be casting its live-action Batman anytime soon. Several well-known actors, including Tom Welling, who famously played Superman in Smallville, have expressed interest. Luckily, the DCU appears to have a simple way to potentially cast Welling as Batman, regardless of what direction they take with the main Batman character.
