As a big fan of historical dramas, I was excited to hear about the new Robin Hood series that premiered on MGM+ on November 2nd. And wow, it’s already a hit! According to FlixPatrol, it quickly became the most-watched show on the platform in the US. I’m especially intrigued by the casting – Rowan Atkinson as the Sheriff of Nottingham is a brilliant choice, and Jake Patten seems perfect as Robin Hood. Connie Nielsen as Eleanor of Aquitaine adds some serious star power, too. It’s currently tied with Outlander: Blood of My Blood for the top spot, beating out shows like From. The series is the work of creators Jonathan English and John Glenn, who also wrote the scripts, so it’s clearly a passion project for them.

According to FlixPatrol, Lazarus is now the most popular show on Prime Video in the United States. It’s climbed to the top spot, surpassing Hazbin Hotel at No. 2, Gen V at No. 3, The Terminal List: Dark Wolf at No. 4, and The Summer I Turned Pretty at No. 5. Lazarus had been fluctuating between the second and third positions for the past week, and its rise to No. 1 means Allen Iv3rson dropped to No. 7. The rest of the Prime Video Top 10 includes House of David at No. 6, The Girlfriend at No. 8, The Chosen at No. 9, and Hollywood Hustler: Glitz, Glam, Scam at No. 10.
