Sunrise on the Reaping takes place 24 years before the events of The Hunger Games, focusing on the 50th Hunger Games – also known as the Second Quarter Quell. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Paramount Pictures is once again working with Blumhouse on a new Paranormal Activity movie. James Wan, who has been involved with the franchise for years, is also joining the project through his production company, Atomic Monster, which recently merged with Blumhouse. Wan shared a statement about his return to the series.
