Karl Alberg (Rossif Sutherland) and Cassandra Lee (Kristin Kreuk) are facing fresh obstacles, but their relationship appears to be thriving. However, Mayor Holman (Marcia Gay Harden) is poised to cause trouble. Season 2 directly addresses a concern many viewers had with Cassandra in Season 1 – that she was often only involved in Alberg’s stories. Kristin Kreuk recently shared with TopMob that Cassandra will have a more independent and significant role this season.
