Andy Weir, the author of the book that inspired the game, has revealed Project Hail Mary: Journey Among the Stars, a new mixed-reality video game. It’s designed to be a deeply immersive experience and is scheduled to release on popular VR and mixed reality platforms such as Meta Quest and PICO in late 2026.
Anthony Mackie, known for his role as Captain America/Falcon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Dafne Keen will star in a new action-thriller called Barracuda. The film will be directed by Neil Burger, who has previously directed movies like Limitless and Divergent. The screenplay is a collaboration between Adam Mason and Simon Boyes. The Apple TV series Silo hasn’t been afraid to make significant changes from the original novels by Hugh Howey, altering everything from the overall mood to the way key characters behave. The show’s second season even introduced new characters to expand on the story’s existing background. While still capturing the heart of the books, the Silo TV adaptation has successfully created its own unique identity, rather than simply being a direct translation of the source material.

As a huge Superman fan, I’m really excited about these animated shorts! “Coastal Catastrophe” is actually the final one of four Krypto Saves the Day! shorts coming out in 2025. It’s cool that James Gunn is involved as an executive producer. Now, they aren’t officially part of the main DC Universe storyline, but they’re definitely taking inspiration from the Superman movie that’s also coming out in 2025.
