The crew of the USS Protostar aren’t traditional Starfleet officers; they’re young people who were imprisoned and are now searching for the missing ship. They receive guidance from a holographic training program modeled after Janeway. This new team is joined by a familiar, experienced Starfleet captain in holographic form. When Hologram Janeway self-destructs, it feels as impactful as the death of a living character.
As a huge Spider-Man fan, I was blown away seeing some early concept art from Kal Athannassov! He posted it on Instagram, and it shows what Peter, MJ, and Ned almost looked like in the animated series. It’s wild because they ended up looking a lot like their live-action counterparts from the latest Spider-Man movies! The hotel is a once-grand building nearing its end, scheduled to close for the winter. Even more curious is the story of its honeymoon suite, which is always locked and sealed off. Inside lives a terrifying, ancient woman – a truly unpleasant character. Fiona, a member of the hotel staff, warns the protagonist about her, and despite his general distrust of everyone at the hotel, he finds himself drawn to her. When Fiona disappears on Halloween and is never seen again, he becomes deeply worried. He demands another search of the hotel, even if it means entering the forbidden honeymoon suite. The main character, Adam Scott (who bears a striking resemblance to David Tennant), starts off as somewhat unlikeable, but his experiences gradually reveal his more human side.

During a CinemaHub interview, Andy Serkis and Iman Vellani discussed their future projects, including the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday. Serkis excitedly told Vellani, “I’m excited to see you in Doomsday,” but she quickly corrected him, playfully saying, “No, you can’t say that!”

Hasbro recently unveiled its newest Marvel Legends figures at CCXP Mexico, and they’re impressive! The lineup includes a Spider-Man figure inspired by the Spider-Man: Brand New Day comic series, and a highly detailed Hulk figure capturing the character’s powerful fury.
The rest of the film presents a difficult ethical question: should the characters follow the strict rules they’re given, or bend them to protect their identities? Fans won’t be able to watch it on Netflix for much longer, as it’s being removed from the service on May 1st.
