‘The Boys’ Creator on Why Major Supe Was Killed off So Quickly in Season 5

A-Train, played by Jessie T. Usher, is a speedster who first appeared in the very first episode of the series. He was originally part of ‘The Seven,’ a superhero team created by Vought International for publicity. For years, he followed the orders of the ruthless Homelander, but began to question things in season four, ultimately leaving Vought. In the season five premiere, A-Train emerges from hiding to rescue Hughie, Frenchie, and Mother’s Milk from a prison camp, but Homelander spots him and gives chase. A-Train swerves to avoid hitting a bystander – a direct reference to the show’s opening scene where he ran through someone – and crashes. This leaves him defenseless, and after confronting Homelander, he is killed.

Wednesday Season 3 Adds 3 New Cast Members, Including GOT & Ted Lasso Vets

As a huge fan of Wednesday, I was thrilled to hear Netflix is adding some fantastic new faces for season 3! They’ve cast Lena Headey (you know, Cersei from Game of Thrones), James Lance (Ted Lasso is brilliant!), and Andrew McCarthy (The Resident) in guest roles. They’ll all be part of the Nevermore Academy world, but Netflix is keeping details about their characters a secret for now. Production is already underway near Dublin, and I can’t wait to see how they fit into the story!

I’m Delighted One Piece Season 2 Proved Me Wrong

No one really expected the first season of One Piece to be any good. Netflix hasn’t had much success with live-action anime adaptations, leading many to believe that anime’s unique and imaginative worlds just don’t translate well to live-action. This was the general feeling about One Piece – a series with over 1000 anime episodes and still going – even before it premiered on Netflix.

Animated movies have become incredibly popular recently, finding success both in cinemas and on streaming services. In 2025, Disney’s Zootopia 2 became one of the highest-grossing films of all time—and the most successful Disney animated movie ever. Netflix also saw huge success with KPop Demon Hunters, which became their most-watched film. Now, there’s another major animated movie to look forward to, just announced!
