Alan Carr, known for his role on Celebrity Traitors, and iconic X-Files stars Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny are donating special items to be auctioned off, all to raise money for charity.
War Child’s Spring Clean 2026 is offering fans the chance to win items donated by celebrities. These include a blazer worn by comedian and performer Carr on RuPaul’s Drag Race, and a signed photo from The X-Files stars Duchovny and Anderson – Anderson is also a supporter of War Child worldwide.
The auction will also include a signed copy of the “Devil Wears Prada 2” script donated by Stanley Tucci, a private movie screening and lunch with Simon Pegg, and a signed clapperboard from “House of the Dragon” featuring Olivia Cooke’s signature.
A signed radish featured in the Netflix series Beef is now available for fans to win, thanks to a donation from cast member and War Child ambassador Carey Mulligan. Proceeds will benefit War Child.

The auction will also feature signed memorabilia from popular artists, including Robbie Williams’ set lists, a poster from The 1975, a signed Coldplay poster, and two tickets to see Harry Styles perform at Wembley Stadium.
Anderson announced the return of War Child’s Spring Clean for its third year, sharing a nostalgic connection to her work on The X-Files. She’s donated a signed photo of herself and David Duchovny, hoping fans of the show will bid on it to support War Child’s efforts to protect, educate, and advocate for children globally.
Let me tell you, this year’s fundraising auction and raffle are going to a truly incredible cause: War Child. They’re doing absolutely vital work on the ground, providing everything from immediate help and safe havens to specialized psychological support for children caught in the horrors of conflict. Honestly, it’s a relief to see so many people stepping up to support them – a huge thank you to everyone involved!
Charlotte Nimmo from War Child UK shared that their Spring Clean fundraising event is returning in 2026, with fantastic prizes available thanks to the support of the creative industries and generous donors.

Currently, around one in five children globally are impacted by conflict, and public support is crucial now more than ever. Every donation helps us assist children whose lives have been devastated by war.
This campaign isn’t just about fundraising; it’s about bringing happiness and optimism back to children. We help vulnerable children recover from difficult experiences, and we offer supporters the chance to own something special and lasting. Spring Clean shows that even when things are tough, there’s always space for enjoyment, imagination, and a brighter outlook.
From May 6th to 27th, the charity helping children affected by war will be holding a Spring Clean auction.
