Alan Carr, known for hosting Celebrity Traitors, is fronting a new TV show following his quest to find and potentially buy his dream castle.
The upcoming Disney+ and Hulu series, currently called Castle Man, will document comedian Picture Slam as he tries to locate, purchase, and manage a historic castle.
As Alan nears his 50th birthday, he starts to reflect on his life, considering his current situation and what he hopes to achieve in the future.
He’s always wanted to own a magnificent château, and after experiencing the unforgettable atmosphere of the castle on The Traitors, he believes that dream might finally come true – but is it really possible?
The story goes on to explain that he isn’t simply dreaming of a castle visit; he wants to make a castle his home, a bold decision he’s making entirely on his own.

Carr joked that while some men having a midlife crisis buy sports cars or change their appearance, he’s decided he wants to own a castle.
You know, ever since I was a kid growing up in Northampton, I’ve always been a dreamer. I’ve always been completely captivated by the beauty and stories behind grand, old houses. Now that I’m turning 50, it just feels like the right time to finally pursue that long-held ambition.
“All I want is a turret to call my own – get me over that drawbridge!”
I’m so excited for Carr! After absolutely killing it on the first season of The Celebrity Traitors last year, he’s jumping into a brand new project, and I can’t wait to see what he does with it.
Carr quickly revealed himself as a Traitor at the start of the game and successfully tricked the other players, ultimately winning the entire competition.
I’m really enjoying watching Alan on TV! He’s hosting a renovation show with Amanda Holden called ‘Amanda & Alan’s Greek Job,’ and it’s on BBC One Fridays at 7:30pm. If you miss it, it’s already available to stream on iPlayer, which is great!
