A famous actress recently confessed who she has a crush on, but admitted it made her feel like she was getting older.
Charlize Theron‘s latest film, the survival thriller Apex, has just been released on Netflix. To help promote the movie, Theron and her co-star Taron Egerton recently did a video interview where they asked each other questions. Egerton shared his celebrity crush, and Theron revealed hers was Richard Dean Anderson, the popular star of the 1980s TV show MacGyver.

“This is how old I am,” Theron said. “Mine’s Richard Dean Anderson. Who knows who that is?”
After Egerton confessed he didn’t recognize the person they were discussing, Theron jokingly exclaimed, “Exactly, no one seems to know who that is anymore! I feel ancient.”
Richard Anderson began his television career in the 1970s with the role of Jeff Webber on General Hospital. He became widely known as the star of the action series , which aired on ABC for seven seasons from 1985 to 1992. In 1997, he took on the iconic role of General Jack O’Neill in Stargate SG-1, a part originally played by Kurt Russell in the Stargate movie. He continued to play O’Neill in subsequent Stargate series like Stargate: Atlantis and Stargate: Universe, and also appeared in the 2008 film Stargate: Continuum.
Richard Dean Anderson was also known for his television work, appearing in shows like Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and Emerald Point N.A.S.. He even played MacGyver on Saturday Night Live in 2009, and made guest appearances on popular shows such as The Simpsons, Raising Hope, and Don’t Trust the B in Apartment 23. His film work includes movies like Odd Jobs, Beyond Betrayal, and Firehouse. In the 1990s, he starred in two MacGyver TV movies as well.
Charlize Theron Stars in Apex
Charlize Theron is set to star in Christopher Nolan’s new film, The Odyssey, which will be released in July, following her role in Apex with Taron Egerton. Recently, she’s also appeared in The School for Good and Evil, Fast X, and The Old Guard 2. Last year, she made a memorable cameo as herself in Apple TV+’s The Studio, and it’s currently unknown if she’ll be in the show’s second season.
The new action movie, Apex, features Charlize Theron as a skilled climber desperately trying to survive after a dangerous hunter begins chasing her. Directed by Baltasar Kormakur and written by Jeremy Robbins, the film also stars Edgar Ramirez as the hunter and Eric Bana as Theron’s husband. Released on Netflix on April 24th, Apex quickly became the platform’s most popular movie worldwide.
