Chloe Kim Reacts to Rumor She Influenced Myles Garrett’s NFL Trade

Chloe Kim was definitely not the mastermind.

Olympic snowboarder Chloe Kim jokingly dismissed claims that she had a hand in her boyfriend, Myles Garrett’s, recent trade from the Cleveland Browns to the Los Angeles Rams. The move brings Garrett closer to Kim’s hometown of Torrance, California, sparking the rumors she playfully denied.

Chloe responded to recent rumors on TikTok, saying people were overestimating her involvement. She explained she only found out about the news shortly before it became public and had intended to support the person involved, no matter where they went.

“I really can’t believe this is actually happening,” she went on, “and I’m so excited to show him around town. Let’s go Rams!”

In a TikTok video, the Olympic gold medalist pretended to be Kris Jenner, lip-syncing to a clip of Jenner asking, “What would happen if you just called Taylor [Swift] up?” The athlete jokingly captioned the video, explaining it was what she said during important NFL meetings while trying to arrange a trade, implying her snowboarding skills and Olympic medals gave her influence.

Many NFL fans who commented on Chloe’s post were understanding, with one person writing, “I’m sorry if other Browns fans are upset, but Myles Garrett was a truly special player for our team, and we’re all really disappointed to see him go.”

Chloe was moved by the message and responded, “I’m really sorry… truly. I really did have a great time in Cleveland. Thank you for all the kindness and support you showed both me and him over the years.”

Myles and Chloe were first connected in May 2025, and he was understandably emotional about leaving the Cleveland Browns after playing for them for nine seasons.

As a lifestyle expert, I often talk about the power of place and community, and it’s something I truly believe in. Recently, I was really moved by a post from an athlete reflecting on leaving his team and city. He explained how difficult it was to move on after building his life around one place, one team, and especially the incredible people who supported him. He said from the very beginning, the city welcomed him with open arms, and he felt driven to bring success back to a community that never lost faith – a testament to their loyalty and strength. It really highlighted how much our surroundings and the people in them shape who we are.

As I reflect on my journey, I’m incredibly thankful for my time in Cleveland. That city really molded me into who I am today, and I truly appreciate the Browns organization and their passionate fans for pushing me to be my best. It was a challenging, but ultimately rewarding, experience.

Myles expressed optimism about the future of the team, saying, “The best is yet to come.” He then thanked the organization for the opportunity to develop as a player and for their faith in him. He acknowledged how much he enjoyed his time with the team, saying, “It’s easy to appreciate this group, but saying goodbye is incredibly difficult.” He concluded by expressing gratitude for nine amazing years.

After twelve seasons as the Detroit Lions’ quarterback, Matthew Stafford was traded to the Los Angeles Rams in 2021. This meant Matthew and his wife, Kelly, who had long lived in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, moved to L.A., and he went on to win a Super Bowl with the Rams in his very first season.

He actually had a hidden source of strength with him all along: his wife’s unwavering support.

After the Rams’ victory, Kelly revealed on TODAY that she wrote her husband a letter before each game, including the Super Bowl in February 2022. She explained she wanted to express how much he deserved to win and why she believed in him. Ultimately, she said, ‘The most important thing is that we have each other.’

Married on April 4, 2015, the Staffords have four daughters. They are twins Chandler and Sawyer, born on March 31, 2017, along with Hunter Hope, born August 16, 2018, and Tyler Hall, born June 28, 2020.

If Hailee Steinfeld is attracted to confident, determined men, she could have made a much worse choice than getting together with the Bills player who’s been to the Pro Bowl four times.

After dating quietly for over a year, Josh proposed to Hailee by getting down on one knee in a scenic waterfront setting, and she shared the moment with a photo on her Instagram.

They tied the knot in California on May 31, 2025.

She explained that they were young when they fell in love, and while she loved him deeply, she didn’t anticipate becoming so famous so quickly or facing public scrutiny so early in their relationship.

Patrick proposed to his partner on September 1, 2020, at Arrowhead Stadium, while the Kansas City Chiefs were celebrating receiving their Super Bowl LIV rings. They got married on March 12, 2022.

The athlete shared with CBS that having his children, Sterling Skye, born in February 2021, and Patrick “Bronze” Lavone Mahomes III, born in November 2022, helped him appreciate and fully enjoy playing football.

He said he wanted his children to understand why he worked so hard and wasn’t always around. He hoped they’d eventually see that he was dedicated to building something meaningful and striving for success, and that would make them proud.

Brittany welcomed her daughter, Golden Raye, on January 12, 2025. The name, like her other child’s, references precious metals and came shortly before the Kansas City Chiefs made their tenth consecutive playoff appearance.

Okay, so Aaron’s had some amazing girlfriends – Olivia Munn, Danica Patrick, Shailene Woodley… I followed it all! Then, just a couple of months before he signed with the Steelers, he got married! Can you believe it? And he’s been so private about it! He briefly mentioned dating a Brittani in December 2024, but he still hasn’t actually told us who his wife is, even after everyone noticed his wedding ring back in June 2025 at minicamp. It’s driving me crazy! I need to know!

He did mention having an amazing wife, telling Sports Illustrated that he deeply loves and appreciates her support, especially during tough times. He explained that having that kind of stability and unwavering support at home makes him feel capable of achieving anything.

The former Super Bowl champion, who played with the Packers, shared that finding the right person can instantly transform your life. He said having someone who loves and supports you completely is the best feeling imaginable.

Okay, so, like, it was March 2026, and it was HER birthday – she turned 27! And my absolute FAVORITE NFL player, the one I totally ship her with, posted the sweetest thing on Instagram. He basically said she’s his favorite person EVER and that he loves her SO much, and that she’s completely changed his life. I swear, I almost died! It was the cutest thing, and it just confirmed everything I already knew – they’re meant to be!

Actor Ben Foster, known for his role as the Lion in Wolverine, quietly married model Christen Harper on June 22, 2024, at the Ojai Valley Inn in California.

However, after checking, she discovered she was the one who sent the initial message. She encourages other women to take the initiative, saying, ‘You never know—you gotta shoot your shot!’

Christen, the co-founder of the wellness app Planted, says her partner, Jared, is a huge support system and her biggest fan when it comes to achieving her goals, always cheering her on from the sidelines.

She said she loves supporting him during football season, but he’s always been her biggest champion and most loyal supporter.

Jalen generally keeps his personal life private, but in 2023 he told Essence magazine that he was in a relationship with Bryonna “Bry” Burrows, who works as an IT specialist.

Jalen and his partner began dating while students at the University of Alabama. Even before he completed his college football career at Oklahoma and entered the 2020 draft, he felt they had a strong future together. He explained that their connection was unique and incredibly important to him, and it’s what ultimately brought them to where they are today.

In September 2024, Essence magazine first reported that they were engaged. By the time Men’s Health featured the 2025 Super Bowl winner on its April 22nd cover, Jalen was already married to Bry.

Baker Mayfield’s football career had its ups and downs for a while, but in 2023, the Buccaneers took a risk on him, and it paid off with a playoff appearance. Through it all, his wife, Emily Wilkinson Mayfield, has been a constant source of support.

Baker Mayfield, who won the Heisman Trophy while playing for the University of Oklahoma, met his wife, Emily, in 2017 and proposed shortly after. She’s supported him through everything, from being the first pick in the 2018 NFL draft by the Cleveland Browns to all the challenges and successes that followed.

And the fairer half of the Baker & Emily Mayfield Foundation is certainly in it for the long haul.

Ronika shared on Instagram that she always dreamed of appearing on Sportscenter, but imagined it would be for her volleyball achievements, not a viral photo of her and Jordan’s mom at a game.

Recognizing his perfect partner, Love proposed to them during a trip to Italy in June 2024.

“First step to forever,” they posted on Instagram June 23. They tied the knot a year later.

Joe Flacco, a Super Bowl champion who previously played for the Ravens, unexpectedly became the key to the Cleveland Browns’ playoff hopes in the 2023-24 season. He was enjoying family life as a stay-at-home dad to his five children with his wife, Dana Grady Flacco, when the Browns called him up.

Dana shared with Cleveland.com before the 2024 playoffs that Joe is a very active person. She explained he’s always eager to help, often asking, ‘What can I do?’ and even brought her coffee multiple times a day – she estimates she was having around seven cups daily!

The couple met in high school at Audubon High School in New Jersey and married on June 25, 2011. They have five children: Stephen, born in June 2012; Daniel, born in September 2013; Francis, born in January 2015; Evelyn, born in September 2016; and Thomas, born in April 2018.

Joe explained in a Ravens video that having children has completely changed how he spends his time when he’s not playing football. He and his wife often find themselves wondering how they ever filled their time before their kids came along, as they’re now fully focused on their family.

Joe wasn’t finished playing football, so he signed a one-year contract with the Colts in 2024 to be the backup quarterback to Anthony Richardson. He then agreed to play another season with the Browns in 2025 for $4 million before being traded to the Bengals after just five weeks with the team.

Ciara, who married Russell Wilson in 2016, told Sports Illustrated in 2022 that she and her husband share a common approach to raising their children, which she believes is incredibly important. She explained that because their kids will have opportunities they didn’t have growing up, it’s vital to instill humility and teach them responsibility, like cleaning up after themselves, and understanding that success requires effort.

Russell Wilson came to the Broncos in 2022 after playing for Seattle for ten years. His family also grew in December 2023 with the birth of his daughter, Amora Princess Wilson. He and Ciara are now parents to five children: Amora, Future Zahir (born May 2019), Sienna (born April 2017), Win (born July 2020), and Future’s son from a previous relationship.

Following two disappointing seasons with the Denver Broncos, Russell Wilson revitalized his career and played at a very high level with the Pittsburgh Steelers. However, when the Steelers signed Justin Fields, a former quarterback from the Chicago Bears, in 2024, Wilson became a free agent and signed a one-year contract with the New York Giants in 2025.

Rumors of a romantic connection between the team’s quarterback and Sarah Jane Ramos began in September 2023. Ramos posted pictures of herself at a Cowboys game with the quarterback’s sister-in-law, Holly Prescott, which initially fueled the speculation.

Margaret Jane Rose Prescott was born on February 22, 2024, and Dak scored the winning touchdown in October.

He announced their engagement on October 18th with a photo and the caption, “Mine Forever!!!!” He went on to express his love, calling her his best friend, partner, teammate, mother, and now, his fiancé, and thanking God for their relationship and family.

Sure, offensive lines are great, but it’s Julie Hampton Cousins who really has Kirk’s back.

I absolutely love supporting Kirk! As his wife, and a former teacher, I really thrive in making our home a hub for family and friends – I’m always hosting game nights, cooking, and planning meals. Beyond that, I handle all the little things that help him stay on top of his game, like scheduling his appointments, ensuring everyone gets enough rest, and making sure we all have quality time with our sons. It’s definitely a one-of-a-kind role, but I’m incredibly happy doing it.

Though at 37, Kirk is nearing the end of his athletic career, he was thrilled to play while his sons, Cooper (born September 29, 2017) and Turner (born March 10, 2019), were old enough to truly remember and appreciate the experience.

The couple, who started dating in 2021, honeymooned in Puerto Rico.

On February 13, 2023, Amy turned 22, and Kenny shared a heartfelt message on Instagram. He expressed his deep gratitude for her and said he’d be honored to spend the rest of his life with her.

My heart absolutely soared when I found out Kenny and his wife celebrated their first wedding anniversary with a trip to Napa Valley! It was such a lovely way to mark the occasion, especially knowing he’d be heading off to Philadelphia soon to support Jalen Hurts as the Eagles’ backup quarterback. It felt like the perfect blend of romance and dedication to his career.

Kenny was part of the Eagles team that won the Super Bowl in 2025. He was then traded to the Browns, but ultimately joined the Raiders before the start of the 2025-26 season.

Following the Dolphins’ decision to extend his contract through 2024 in March 2023, Tua Tagovailoa revealed to the media that he had thought about retiring after a 2022 season where he suffered several injuries.

And not least because he had so many wonderful things to stay home for.

Tua Tagovailoa rarely shares details about his personal life, but he made an exception to celebrate a special occasion. On July 17, 2023, he posted a photo of his wife, Annah Tagovailoa, and wrote, “Happy 1 Year Anniversary to my beautiful wife. I love you.”

In November 2022, Tua Tagovailoa shared a personal update with reporters, expressing gratitude for his wife and new son, Ace, who was born in August 2022. Ace made his first public appearance at a charity luau benefiting the Tua Foundation in April of the following year.

Tua shared that having a child completely changed his perspective on life, unlike anything he’d ever known. He explained that there’s no one-size-fits-all guide to parenthood, as everyone’s journey is unique, regardless of whether they have a son or a daughter first.

He expressed his gratitude for having a son, saying he wasn’t sure how he’d handle raising a daughter. He felt it would be more challenging, as he wasn’t confident he’d know what to do.

Tua and Anna have since welcomed daughter Maisey.
