The new action thriller is expected to be available for streaming next week. Featuring the star of Thor and Extraction as a charming thief, the film has already been hailed as one of the best movies of 2026. Soon, audiences will be able to enjoy this exciting heist story from the comfort of their homes.
The film Crime 101, which came out in February, stars Chris Hemsworth alongside an award-winning actor and other familiar faces from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It’s based on a 2020 book by Don Winslow and marks director Bart Layton’s first large-scale blockbuster. Layton previously gained recognition for the crime thriller American Animals and the documentary The Imposter.
Despite receiving positive reviews from critics – including an 89% ‘Certified Fresh’ rating on Rotten Tomatoes – the action thriller Crime 101 wasn’t a financial success. It earned only $72 million at the box office, despite costing $90 million to make, making it a recent box office disappointment.
Good news for fans of Chris Hemsworth! The new crime thriller, Crime 101, will be available to stream on Prime Video starting next Wednesday, April 1st. According to a report from When to Stream, a typically accurate source for release dates, you can expect it then, even though Amazon hasn’t officially confirmed it yet.
