Several games from other companies appear to be heading to the Nintendo Switch 2. Ratings have surfaced for Switch 2 versions of Blood West, Hell Is Us, and Devil May Cry 5 Devil Hunter Edition. Although the publishers – New Blood Interactive, Nacon, and Capcom – haven’t officially confirmed anything, these ratings suggest a Nintendo Direct presentation focused on third-party games could be announced soon.
It wouldn’t be unexpected if Devil May Cry 5 came to the Switch 2, as Capcom has been releasing its games on Nintendo’s newer console recently, including Resident Evil Requiem and Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection. The upcoming game Pragmata is also planned for the Switch 2. Gematsu noticed a rating for Devil May Cry 5 on the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee website, but the page has since been removed. Originally launched in 2019 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, Devil May Cry 5 received a Special Edition on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2020. Capcom confirmed in May 2025 that the game had sold over 10 million copies.
Ratings for the games Hell Is Us and Blood West have appeared on the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) website. Both games have received a Mature 17+ rating. Hell Is Us received this rating due to blood, references to drugs, strong language, suggestive themes, and violence. Blood West was rated Mature for its blood and gore, partial nudity, use of alcohol and tobacco, and violence. Although both games have been rated, their release dates for the Nintendo Switch 2 are still unconfirmed.
The newest of the three games is Hell Is Us, released last year. We described it as an action-adventure game with elements similar to the ‘Souls-like’ genre, blending the realities of war with supernatural horror stemming from an event called the Calamity. We initially scored it a 7 out of 10, praising its realistic portrayal of civil war, unsettling visuals, and well-crafted dungeons, alongside its quick and engaging combat. However, we felt it lacked variety in enemy design and memorable boss encounters.
Released in 2023, Blood West is a horror game that blends the weird west aesthetic with gameplay inspired by the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series. In our review, we rated it an 8 out of 10, praising its immersive atmosphere, engaging gameplay, and rewarding progression. We did feel the levels became repetitive, and the game was initially quite difficult. However, we recommend it to fans of stealth games and the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series.
