Chun-Li is a hugely popular character from Street Fighter, so it was natural that she’d be included in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.
Now that we’ve seen her gameplay in the SNK fighting game, it’s clear she’s going to be a fantastic character. We can expect her release later this year.
Similar to Ken, she mirrors her moves from Street Fighter 6, but she now has even more powerful and frequent kicks, allowing her to relentlessly attack her opponent, Mai.

Here’s her blurb from the press release:
Okay, so I’m playing as Chun-Li, and she’s been sent to South Town. Basically, the city’s getting overrun by this old criminal group, and they asked for her specifically to check it out. She’s a total pro, a real force to be reckoned with – honestly, most of the local fighters don’t stand a chance against her speed and skill. The only one who might actually give her a run for her money is this kunoichi – a ninja – from the Shiranui clan. She’s a tough opponent, for sure.
The trailer includes a moment—a “boob kiss”—that longtime fans will recognize as a nod to classic promotional artwork from the old SNK vs Capcom games.
Players will be able to experience Chun-Li’s story through a dedicated Arcade mode with cut-scenes, and she’s also a playable character in the game’s RPG mode, Episodes of South Town, for those who want even more story content.
She’ll also have both her modern and classic outfits available to select.
Are you looking forward to Chun-Li joining the roster in City of the Wolves, or have you lost interest in this SNK fighting game? We still think it’s one of the best fighting games available on PlayStation.
