Hamster announced that Console Archives Seicross will be available on PlayStation 5 and Switch 2 starting April 9th. The game will cost $7.99 or 800 yen.
Here is an overview of the game, via Hamster:
Seicross was released by Nichibutsu in 1986 for an 8-bit home console.
You’re a hover bike pilot tasked with rescuing the people of Petra. Their home has been invaded by a former ally tribe who have become hostile.
When you free the people held captive in Petra, your bike gets heavier, making it burn through fuel quickly. However, you’ll receive big rewards for completing the level!
The Console Archives series aims to bring classic games originally released on older home consoles to modern hardware, making them easy to play today.
This series is user-friendly, offering features like adjustable controls and display options. You can also save your progress at any time and easily pick up where you left off.
Enjoy these classic console games, whether you’re a longtime fan or discovering them now! They’re the titles that helped define gaming history.
As a fan, I’m really happy to see the game’s options and manual are available in so many languages! They’ve got it covered for Japanese, English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish speakers, which is awesome.
