Even if you already own the Harry Potter books, this beautiful new edition of *Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire* is worth a look. It’s a special edition for book lovers, featuring over 150 new, full-color illustrations by Karl James Mountford and unique papercraft designs by Jess Tice-Gilbert. You can preview it in the video below and order it on Amazon today for $39.99 (currently 20% off). It’s available starting October 14th. Be aware that this edition has sparked some discussion beyond the usual conversations surrounding J.K. Rowling.
Many Harry Potter fans know that the first three interactive, illustrated books were created by MinaLima, the design studio behind the iconic graphic props and designs from the Harry Potter films. However, MinaLima decided to stop working on the series after book three, and announced this decision last year with a statement that follows.
We’ve received a lot of questions about an illustrated edition of ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’ by MinaLima. We want to let you know that Studio MinaLima wasn’t asked to illustrate the fourth book and won’t be working on any further books in the Harry Potter series.

We were thrilled to redesign the first three Harry Potter books as illustrated fairytales and share them with fans around the globe. It’s been a wonderful experience connecting with readers, publishers, and collectors at events. From Miraphora Mina, Eduardo Lima, and the entire MinaLima team: thank you for your incredible support – we hope you’ve enjoyed experiencing our work as much as we enjoyed creating it.
If you already own the first three books and want to complete the series, you can continue with this new edition of *The Goblet of Fire*. It’s unfortunate that MinaLima couldn’t finish designing the entire series, but you can find their editions of this book on Amazon.
