Coronation Street airs lethal argument between Maggie Driscoll and Megan Walsh in early ITVX release

In Coronation Street, Megan Walsh and Maggie Driscoll find themselves in a life-or-death situation after a tense argument, leaving them at risk of a fatal fall.

Time is running out for a character on Coronation Street, as Betsy Swain will discover a dead body in tomorrow’s episode.

The episode began with a dramatic scene: Megan was forcibly removed from a van after being kidnapped by Eva Price, along with Toyah and Leanne Battersby. They were seeking revenge.

They pressured her to admit she had harmed Will Driscoll (Lucas Hodgson-Wale), but she firmly insisted his claims were false and nothing inappropriate had occurred. Eva offered her a way out – a chance to start over with a new identity and job – but warned that she would inevitably return to cause trouble.

Megan believed she was in control and attempted to create conflict between the sisters. She did this by telling one sister that Leanne had talked about the problems in the other sister’s marriage to Imran Habeeb, and even claimed Leanne was to blame for his death.

Toyah was extremely angry with what Megan had said, and even though she was the only person attempting to calm things down, she reacted by hitting Megan and causing her nose to bleed.

She rushed out of the apartment, intent on reporting the attack. However, Detective Constable Kit Green was already dealing with another issue – he’d just learned that Theo Silverton had been bullying Todd Grimshaw, and was focused on that instead.

Walking down the narrow alleyway, Megan couldn’t help but overhear a fascinating chat between Maggie and her ex-daughter-in-law, Melanie.

I quickly realized Melanie was still talking to her brother-in-law, Finlay, and he was recounting the shocking details of how Maggie supposedly killed her husband, Alan – she’d pushed him down the stairs. I was completely hooked, listening to every word of this incredibly unsettling conversation and mentally taking notes on everything he said.

After Melanie departed, Megan approached Maggie, pretending at first to offer support. But the situation quickly deteriorated, and Megan revealed she was aware of Maggie’s history as a murderer.

Before Maggie could explain what happened, her son Ben called her into the Rovers pub. She had to leave Megan and saw Eva and Leanne being arrested by the police.

That night, Maggie went to the police station to confront Megan, who appeared to be preparing to leave town. Maggie demanded Megan delete a recording, revealing she knew Megan hadn’t lost her baby, but had instead had an abortion.

Megan left, but Maggie refused to back down. A door slammed, signaling that their argument would continue in the next episode.

Will one of them fall from the precinct walkway?
