Coronation Street fans hoping to watch the end of the ‘murder week’ storyline on ITVX first thing tomorrow will be disappointed – the episodes aren’t being released early.
It won’t be available online until after it’s shown on ITV1 at 8:30 PM. This is so everyone can watch together and discover who the victim is.
Starting in October 2024, new episodes of Coronation Street and Emmerdale have been added to the streaming service at 7am daily, letting viewers watch them 13 hours before they were previously available. This change reflects how people are watching TV, a shift that EastEnders implemented a few years ago.
Craig Morris, who manages content for ITV channels and ITVX, explained that viewers really liked being able to watch their favorite soaps at 7am during the Euros and Olympics. This showed that people want the flexibility to choose when they watch.
You can now watch your favorite shows whenever it’s convenient – during your commute, lunchtime, or any evening time that works for you.

We saw a brief look at tomorrow’s murder back in February. This week, the show is filling in the details of what’s happening to the people who are about to die, all while the rest of the residents party with the Connor-Swains at Underworld.
The people most at risk right now are Megan Walsh, Jodie Ramsey, Carl Webster, Theo Silverton, and Maggie Driscoll. We’ve already seen some suspicious activity: Theo has been getting closer to his husband, Todd Grimshaw, Ronnie Bailey drove Carl away in his car, and Jodie met someone from her past who remains unidentified.

Today’s episode features a dangerous showdown between Megan and Maggie on the walkway above the Weatherfield shopping center. The situation is life-threatening – will either of them survive?
While the exact events are being kept secret, TopMob reports that Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) will be caught in the middle of the escalating conflict between Todd and Theo. Meanwhile, Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) will be shocked by a violent break-in at a home.
Ronnie takes matters into his own hands, and Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) stumbles across the body.
You can watch Coronation Street this Friday at 8:30 PM on ITV1. The episode will be available on ITVX after it airs on television.
