Crimson Desert Patch Adds Dedicated Tool Slot, Baby Wyvern Pet, and Lets Kliff Use Muskets

A new update for Pearl Abyss’s Crimson Desert is out now, perfect for players looking for something to do this weekend. Unlike the previous update which didn’t add much, this one – patch 1.08.00 – includes a significant number of improvements and features.

We’ve added a special slot just for tools like the logging axe, broom, scythe, and pickaxe. This means you won’t accidentally switch to a tool when trying to equip a different weapon. Plus, if you enjoy fishing, you can now build a pond at Howling Hill and Pailune Camps to store your catches. It can hold one Legendary Fish at a time, but collecting multiple of the same type of fish will increase your total count.

And get this – they’ve added twenty new little creatures you can keep as pets! Plus, there’s a Baby Wyvern, which is super cool. You really need to look after it though, because they said it might grow up into a rideable Wyvern in a future update – how amazing is that?!

On the combat front, Damiane and Oongka get their own version of the Focused Aerial Roll, but Kliff arguably makes out better because he can now utilize muskets and shotguns. If you were getting bored with the bow and arrow, then take note: That Infinite Arrows Abyss Gear will now work with firearms. Check out more of the changes below.
