Despite finishing in 2024, Gege Akutami’s popular manga, Jujutsu Kaisen, continues to grow in popularity. The anime is currently finishing up the Culling Game storyline in its fourth season and will then move on to the final part of the story. The manga’s final volume included a four-part epilogue that the anime might adapt, as it’s considered part of the main narrative. Fans were surprised by the manga’s ending, and even more so when Akutami returned within a year with a sequel, Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo. Akutami wrote the sequel, with illustrations by Yuji Iwasaki. Modulo was initially released as a short story over six months, then collected into three volumes. While Modulo also concluded in March, the Jujutsu Kaisen universe isn’t finished yet.
As fans eagerly anticipate the fourth season of the anime, Crunchyroll has announced a partnership with Conqueror, a virtual fitness app. This collaboration will combine fitness challenges with the storyline from the first season of Jujutsu Kaisen. Participants can enjoy in-app stories, collect virtual cards and postcards, and earn rewards for reaching fitness goals. In addition to this exciting news, a fresh look at popular characters from Jujutsu Kaisen has also been revealed.
Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade Reveals a New Summer Look

To celebrate its 2.5-year anniversary, the official social media account for the game shared a fresh look at Satoru Gojo and his students. Phantom Parade is the first mobile game officially based on the series, created by Sumzap as a free-to-play RPG for Android and iOS. It launched in Japan on November 21, 2023, and became available worldwide in multiple languages about a year later.
This game retells the original story with fully voiced cutscenes and battles, letting players harness Cursed Techniques. Beyond the main storyline, it features brand new characters, providing fresh viewpoints and challenges within the world of Jujutsu Kaisen. The official X account recently shared exciting news and new images to celebrate these updates.
What’s Next For Jujutsu Kaisen?

I’m really looking forward to Season 4 of the anime! It seems like the characters will be dealing with even more powerful enemies within the Culling Game. We’ve learned how Gojo can be released from the Prison Realm, but it’s clear the path to actually freeing him will be incredibly difficult for the young sorcerers. There are a lot of challenges standing in their way.
Beyond the current storyline, the anime could potentially cover the sequel manga in the future. This sequel manga was incredibly popular from the start and is now complete in Japan. While it’s not yet available outside of Japan, we might hear about international release plans this year – it usually takes several months to license and translate new volumes. To celebrate the final volume’s release, MAPPA released a promotional video that got fans excited about a possible anime adaptation.
The popular series is growing! Horror writer Yumeaki Hirayama is working on a spin-off novel, which Akutami is overseeing. While the main story has finished and future sequels aren’t certain, Jujutsu Kaisen will remain popular thanks to new releases and exciting, surprise projects designed to keep fans engaged.
