Crunchyroll is gearing up for a fantastic 2026, starting in January with new seasons of popular anime like Jujutsu Kaisen (season three), Hell’s Paradise (season two), Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End (season two), and Oshi no Ko (season three), plus many more titles. But the biggest news for fans is the return of Trigun, bringing Vash the Stampede and the world of Planet Gunsmoke back to the streaming service on January 10th. To help viewers prepare, Crunchyroll is also offering a special recap of everything that’s happened so far.
I’m so excited! Crunchyroll is letting everyone watch all of Trigun Stampede for free from January 6th to 13th on YouTube! It’s the perfect way to get ready for Trigun Stargaze, which is being called the epic finale to Studio Orange’s awesome remake. If you haven’t seen Stampede yet, now’s your chance to jump in and see what all the fuss is about. And if you have seen it, it’s a great refresher before Stargaze arrives. Honestly, with so much great anime coming in January 2026, Vash the Stampede absolutely deserves to be a major highlight!
Trigun Stampede Vs. Stargaze

Since its debut in the 1990s with Studio Madhouse, Trigun has remained a popular anime series, introducing fans to the character Vash The Stampede. While there was a movie, Trigun: Badlands Rumble, in 2010, Trigun Stampede marks the first new anime series in many years. This latest installment, created by Studio Orange, stays more faithful to the original manga and offers a fresh take on the beloved characters that made Trigun famous among anime fans.
At the end of the last series, Vash was facing a difficult situation with his dangerous brother, Millions Knives, and the organization he built. While previews for Trigun Stargaze suggest the new series will differ from the original anime, it will also bring back a character who wasn’t in Trigun Stampede: Millie. Although Meryl played a key role last season, her close friend and partner, Millie, was missing. Orange, the company behind the series, has confirmed Millie’s return, and she’ll have a fresh new look. Given how much Trigun Stargaze has already changed the story, it will be fascinating to see what happens in this final installment.
What are your thoughts on the fact that Trigun will be available to watch for free? Share your opinions in the comments and discuss it with other fans on the ComicBook Forum!
