Once again, the world of digital gold proves its incompetence-this time, SFUND’s token decided to take a nosedive of nearly 60%. Imagine, just as you’re settling into the idea that blockchain is unhackable, it laughs in your face and drains at least $1.2 million onto BNBChain. Rumors whisper of something up to eight-point-eight million, but who’s counting? Certainly not the people whose money is now residing on the blockchain’s fancy garage sale table.
Some crypto detectives, probably bored or desperate, claim that the wallets involved have a cheeky connection to-wait for it-Contagious Interview, a North Korean hacker gang known for their subtlety and modesty. Or maybe just their love for stealing digital wallet candies. Either way, an even more daring organization might be attempting a bit of crime tourism.
SFUND’s Token: The Great Disappointment
Once upon a time, Seedify Fund was everyone’s darling, launching cool features in the Web3 universe with its SFUND token-like a startup that wore startup pajamas. Today, that fairy tale took a darker turn, as a founder hastily notified the community of a hack so epic, even the hackers couldn’t believe their luck.
Hello everybody,
A drain bridge hack just happened on one of our $SFUND bridges. We are investigating the issue. We had audits on all these contracts, and been running the same bridge contracts for over 3 years.
We already contacted Layerzero as well.
We will be updating you…

The rumor mill, that ever-enthusiastic gossip generator, inflated the amount stolen to a jaw-dropping eight-point-eight million dollars-clearly, everyone loves a dramatic number. In reality, the hack hit the bridge, not the core token itself. Yet, it seemed to be connected to some shady cross-chain whispering or bridge logic flaws, or perhaps, just bad luck.
Developers played the role of cautious parents, telling everyone to avoid SFUND bridges until further notice. Even CZ, the former Binance bigwig, was asked to see if he could “freeze” a measly $1.2 million shoved onto BNBChain-showing how much faith we put into crypto heroes and their quick reaction times.
As of now, the hackers haven’t even bothered to dump the stolen loot-ungrateful, really. Still, the damage done to SFUND’s reputation and token value was about as subtle as a slap in the face with a wet fish:
The North Korean Connection: Because Why Not?
In the best tradition of mystery novels, Seedify, eager to save face and recover some cents, offered a “huge bounty” to the famous crypto detective ZachXBT. He claims that the on-chain evidence points a suspicious finger directly at North Korean hackers-because what’s a theft without a little international flavor? Not Lazarus this time, but the so-called Contagious Interview, a gang with a less intimidating but still pretty sneaky reputation.
The North Korean hackers aren’t new to the scene-they’ve been quietly, ruthlessly, and perhaps somewhat lazily, stealing crypto for years. This isn’t quite the Lazarus Group’s swagger, but it’s just enough to keep the industry guessing whether a new mafia of digital thieves is emerging, with all the subtlety of a marching band.
If Contagious Interview decides to pack its bags and grow bolder, the entire crypto community might want to start practicing their suspicious side-eyes. Because, evidently, the era of silent, clever thefts might be making a comeback-minus the Hollywood flair, plus a little more international espionage.
