Cyberpunk 2077 Should Soon Be Easier to Access Than Ever

As a huge fan of Cyberpunk 2077, I’m really excited about the latest news! Remember how rocky the launch was back in 2020? CD Projekt Red really turned things around, and now it’s considered one of the best RPGs we’ve seen in years – especially with the Phantom Liberty expansion. If you’ve been wanting to jump in but haven’t yet, it sounds like it’s about to become way easier to do so! They’ve hinted at something new that will make the game much more accessible, which is awesome.

Xbox recently shared a hint on social media suggesting that Cyberpunk 2077 might be added to Xbox Game Pass. While they didn’t make a direct announcement, they posted a picture of a mock email with a prominent, bolded “V” – the name of the game’s main character. This strongly implies that Cyberpunk 2077 will be available on Game Pass in the near future.

There’s a good chance Cyberpunk 2077 will be added to Xbox Game Pass within the next week or two. Xbox will announce its new Game Pass additions for March 2026 tomorrow. It’s currently unclear if the game will only be available with the Ultimate Game Pass subscription, or if the Phantom Liberty expansion will also be included.

Is Cyberpunk 2077 Worth Playing?

If you haven’t tried Cyberpunk 2077 yet, now is the perfect time to play it on Xbox Game Pass! The developers, CD Projekt Red, have made huge improvements to the game over the last few years, fixing many of the issues it had at launch. It’s significantly better now – more polished and refined than ever before – making it a great experience for new players.

Honestly, I’m super excited about Cyberpunk 2077 coming to Xbox Game Pass. I think it’s going to instantly become one of the best games on there. It just makes the whole Game Pass subscription even more worthwhile, and it means a ton of us are going to get to experience a really amazing RPG without having to buy it separately.
