Marvelous and Marvelous First Studio have been tirelessly working on their mech action game, Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion, and now they’ve shared a fresh insight into its creation with a new video. Entitled The Making of Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion – Developer Documentary, this behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming title lasts approximately 13 minutes. You can take a peek at it below.

In this video, documentary filmmaker Archipel is the one behind the production, with series producer Kenichiro Tsukuda appearing in it. The topics covered revolve around Tsukuda’s early encounters with mecha genre that eventually sparked the idea for the original Daemon X Machina, and also offer a peek into the studio’s creative process behind Titanic Scion.

The documentary additionally includes conversations between the producer and the development team about their application of contemporary game creation tools and methods for enhancing graphics and gameplay. In terms of design, it also delves into how they utilized 3D printing technology to create the unique aesthetic seen in Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion.
