This week, after a delay earlier in the year and numerous checks, Tripwire Interactive’s “Killing Floor 3” is set to release! You can start pre-loading it as of today at 9 AM EDT/6 AM PDT, but sadly, PC players on the Epic Games Store won’t have that option.
Globally, on July 24th, the cooperative shooter game makes its debut simultaneously. As a follow-up to Killing Floor 2, Tripwire’s new release takes us approximately 70 years into the future and centers around the struggle between Horzine and Nightfall. The first is a megacorp that manufactures Zeds for malicious intentions, while the latter aims to put an end to their actions.
In the new installment, Killing Floor 3, you’ll encounter familiar elements such as M.E.A.T.’s lifelike injury and limb-removal effects, along with Zed Time, which slows down gameplay for strategic maneuvers. However, this time around, Specialists have been introduced, each boasting unique talents and extraordinary abilities. Additionally, a Supply Pass system is in place for cosmetic items, reminiscent of Helldivers 2’s Warbonds system.
