Charlie Cox may be hinting that Daredevil: Born Again could end after its second season.
The Marvel Television’s Daredevil revival titled “Born Again” made its debut on Disney+ in March 2025. This series is a follow-up to the Netflix Daredevil show, where Charlie Cox once again steps into the shoes of Matt Murdock. Additionally, Vincent D’Onofrio and Jon Bernthal reprise their roles as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin and Frank Castle/Punisher respectively.
The much-anticipated second season of Daredevil: Born Again is set to debut in March 2026, marking its inclusion in Phase 6 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
What did Charlie Cox say about Daredevil: Born Again Season 2?
On Instagram, GalaxyCon posted that during a panel discussion, Charlie Cox referred to “Daredevil: Born Again” Season 2 as the “concluding series” of the Marvel Studios productions.
Cox mentioned that some photos from set have been leaked. He expressed his preference for the black costume they used in Season 2 of Born Again, stating its badass nature and the fact that it mirrors costumes seen in the comics. Additionally, he hinted at an element exclusive to their show in the final season that isn’t found in the comics, which he finds particularly exciting.
It’s plausible that Cox may have unintentionally used the wrong term, implying he meant “latest” instead of “final.” This suggests we should approach this news with a degree of skepticism, as it doesn’t definitively confirm that Daredevil: Born Again will conclude after its second season. At present, there’s no official word from Marvel regarding the show’s future beyond Season 2.
The television special for Bernthal’s Punisher is anticipated to air soon, but as of now, there isn’t a specified release date available for it.
