The Titans are a fascinating but often conflicted team in the DC Universe. They represent the natural evolution of the Teen Titans, carrying on the values of heroism and friendship that made the original team so beloved. However, they frequently get stuck revisiting the past, hindering their progress. Originally formed to unite iconic friends in a fresh way, the Titans were meant to showcase the next generation of heroes who would eventually lead after the Justice League. Unfortunately, a strong attachment to what came before often prevents them from truly moving forward.
Now that the New Titans comic series has arrived, the team is heading in a fresh direction with a revamped roster. This new lineup includes both familiar faces and exciting new members, creating a unique Titans team. We’re going to rank the current team by their power levels. Keep in mind that Starfire is departing, and Static won’t be joining for a few issues, so we’re only considering the current roster. Let’s dive in and see how these Titans stack up!
8) Batgirl

Okay, let’s talk about Stephanie Brown, also known as Spoiler. Honestly, when Cyborg was putting this team together, she seemed like the long shot. She’s often overshadowed by the other members of the Bat-Family – there’s always someone who’s better at any given skill. But don’t let that fool you. This girl is unbelievably tenacious. She might not be the strongest or fastest, but she’s seriously good at everything she needs to be. We’re talking a fantastic fighter, a clever strategist, a skilled hacker, a surprisingly good detective… the list goes on. She’s just a regular human, so she doesn’t have superpowers to rely on, which makes her easy to underestimate. And that’s exactly where she thrives. Seriously, sleep on Steph at your own risk – she’s most dangerous when you don’t see her coming.
7) Nightwing

Nightwing is the most experienced member of the Titans and naturally acts as their leader, but in this new version of the team, he’s taking on more of a mentor role. He’s roughly as powerful as Batgirl, though slightly more so. Nightwing has repeatedly demonstrated fighting skills comparable to Batman, and has even bested him on occasion. While he’s more experienced and has a stronger track record than some of the other Titans, like Steph, his abilities aren’t quite enough to place him any higher in terms of overall power.
6) Eva

Eva recently joined the team, appearing at the end of issue #34. Though we haven’t seen her in action much yet, Cyborg says she’s a powerful android with abilities like telepathy, telekinesis, and control over technology. She proved her incredible power by successfully interacting with and purifying Cyborg’s Mother Box, a feat involving highly advanced New Genesis technology. However, until we see the full extent of her destructive capabilities, it’s hard to say exactly how powerful she is, and I’m hesitant to rank her higher than this for now.
5) Red Devil

As his name suggests, Red Devil looks intimidating, with a fiery appearance and strong dark magical abilities. He’s incredibly strong, easily damaging even tanks, and can breathe fire hot enough to defeat Goliath. While the full extent of his dark magic is unknown, it’s clearly very powerful. Dark magic typically focuses on raw power, even if it means less control, so Red Devil can likely unleash devastating attacks when he chooses.
4) Terra

Terra has often switched between helping and fighting the Titans, but now that she’s a permanent member of the team, she’s free to fully utilize her amazing ability to control earth and rock. She can manipulate anything from small pebbles to massive, magically-charged boulders, and even trigger earthquakes strong enough to destroy cities with a simple gesture. Terra’s been a recurring challenge for a reason – it’s not just her popularity. She’s incredibly dangerous, because what can you do when the very ground you stand on is against you?
3) Wonder Girl

Yara Flor is the current Wonder Girl, and she’s quickly proving to be incredibly powerful – some would say the strongest. As an Amazonian demigoddess, she combines the natural strength of the Amazons with the divine power of her father, a Brazilian river god. Her raw strength is comparable to Wonder Woman’s, allowing her to battle even mythological Titans and gods. Beyond her strength, Yara is a skilled warrior equipped with magical items like her Bracers of Protection, which can create a shield as strong as her unwavering will. She’s a determined and formidable Amazonian warrior, capable of defeating even divine enemies.
2) Cyborg

Cyborg was already incredibly powerful thanks to his connection to the Mother Box, but he’s become even stronger after absorbing the Alpha and Omega Energies. Now, he can create realistic, hard-light duplicates of anyone he’s ever fought alongside or battled, allowing him to face entire teams single-handedly. He can also instantly adapt to any danger, whether it’s Kryptonite or magic, and is now linked to the very core of Apokalips. If he masters this connection, his power will be limitless – potentially even allowing him to reshape the entire universe to his will.
1) Superman

Jon Kent, now known as Tomorrow Man, is destined to become the next great hero, inheriting the mantle of the Man of Steel. As a Kryptonian, especially the son of Superman, his potential is nearly limitless – capable of feats like moving planets or effortlessly defeating incredibly powerful foes. While Clark Kent is already one of DC’s strongest heroes, Jon not only has the ability to exceed his father’s power, he may already be stronger in certain areas. Jon’s heat vision and senses are more refined than Clark’s, allowing him to perceive things his father couldn’t, and even Ultraman acknowledged Jon’s bio-electric punch as the most powerful he’s ever received. Jon represents the peak of superhero strength, and his powers are still growing.
