
The DC Universe is off to an impressive beginning, with the success of Superman at the box office paving the way for a variety of upcoming projects. At present, DC Studios has numerous films and TV shows in the works, and one of these TV series has made a significant stride. As reported by Deadline, David Jenkins, creator of Our Flag Means Death, is now writing a pilot script for Booster Gold on HBO Max. If given the go-ahead, Jenkins would also oversee the show as its producer. Currently, details like casting and when Booster Gold might begin production remain undisclosed.
For some time now, the development of Booster Gold has been ongoing. At a DC Studios press event in February, James Gunn provided an update on its progress, stating that it was progressing well. Earlier, he had revealed the scarcity of updates about Booster Gold due to the scripts not meeting his desired standards yet. As the co-head of DC Studios, Gunn has consistently emphasized that no project will commence production without a final script that satisfies him completely.
