Excitedly, I can’t wait to share that as a dedicated fan, I’m thrilled to announce the upcoming release of the psychological horror game, “Dead Take.” On July 31, this chilling masterpiece will be available for PC through both Steam and Epic Games Store, thanks to the hard work by Pocketpair Publishing and Surgent Studios.
According to Abubakar Salim, the creative director of “Dead Take,” the game centers around actors. Therefore, we sought performers who have experienced it firsthand. It’s a tale about the thrill of ambition and the corruption hidden beneath it. The deceptions we employ to gain attention and the beasts we transform into to maintain that limelight. Each cast member has felt that pressure. This was an opportunity for them to release it.
Here are the latest details, via Pocketpair Publishing:
The date when the movie will be out, as well as the complete cast list, was revealed. This lineup includes Jane Perry known for Baldur’s Gate III and Dragon Age: The Veilguard, along with Alanah Pearce from Cyberpunk 2077 and V/H/S/Beyond. Additionally, Dead Take features guest appearances by Laura Bailey (The Last of Us: Part II, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2), Matthew Mercer (Critical Role, Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth), Sam Lake (Alan Wake II, Max Payne), Travis Willingham (Marvel Rivals, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order), and CDawgVA (Honkai: Star Rail, Card-En-Ciel).
Nestled in a sumptuous yet isolated mansion within the Hollywood Hills, the game Dead Take places you as actor Chase Lowry (Neil Newbon), on a mission to locate your missing friend Vinny Monroe (Ben Starr), who vanished following an extravagant Hollywood bash. As you delve into intricate puzzles reminiscent of escape rooms and piece together videos discovered throughout, you’ll unravel the most sinister truths concealed beneath the glamorous exterior of Tinseltown’s entertainment industry.
