Hey everyone, great news! Kojima Productions just announced that Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is officially coming to PC on March 19th! They showed off a new trailer during the State of Play, and it looks amazing. We got a good look at all the cool stuff they’re adding specifically for PC players, with a mix of actual gameplay and those awesome in-game cutscenes. I’m seriously hyped for this one!
The PC version of the game, created with help from Kojima Productions and Nixxes, will offer smooth, unlocked frame rates while you play, and cutscenes will run at a consistent 60 FPS. It will also work with ultrawide monitors. Players using a DualSense controller on PC will get the same immersive experience as on consoles, including adaptive triggers and haptic feedback. Finally, the trailer shows that the PC version will use Nvidia’s DLSS and AMD’s FSR technologies to improve performance and image quality.
The Steam page for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach isn’t available yet, so we don’t have confirmed information about what kind of computer you’ll need to run the game.
Game director Hideo Kojima hinted at a new trailer earlier this week, mentioning he was back in the editing room after an eight-month break. He followed up with another post suggesting he was working against the clock to finish it.
