After the strong launch of Ghost of Yōtei, which is currently selling better than Ghost of Tsushima did at the same time, Sucker Punch Productions has announced that the co-op focused Legends DLC will be released on March 10th. Best of all, it’s free for anyone who already owns the game on PS5. A new gameplay trailer is also out now, offering a detailed look at the demonic Yōtei Six.
The enemies you’ll face – The Spider, The Oni, The Snake, and The Kitsune – are very different from how they appear in the original game. This Spider has many legs and moves along ceilings. The Oni carries its own severed head on its spear. The Snake is covered in living snakes, and the Kitsune has a sickle stuck in its mouth and is bound by chains.
These enemies are much bigger and stronger than typical spirits, but you won’t have to face them by yourself. You can team up with up to three other players online, choosing from four different character classes. Each class has its own special weapons, like spears, paired swords, and longbows. Based on similar games, each class will likely also have unique abilities and bonus effects.
