Kemco and KANEKODO are releasing their pixel art adventure game, Decollate Decoration, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on April 17th.
Dcollate Decoration first launched for PC via Steam on January 22.
Here is an overview of the game, via Kemco:
Suddenly, you find yourself a ghost. You lived a good life, so you expect peace… but the idea of being apart from the person you love is the scariest thing imaginable. If you can’t stay with them, you’ll do anything to take them with you before you move on. This dark and emotional visual novel, told through striking pixel art, explores the line between love and obsession, the pain of loss, and the difficult choices we make when facing the afterlife.
Decollate Decoration is a visually charming adventure game with a retro pixel art style. You play as a ghost trying to connect with the person you love. Since they can’t see or hear you directly, you’ll need to use clever methods like influencing their dreams, causing playful poltergeist activity, and even casting curses. It’s a point-and-click game where you make choices to guide the story. With six different endings and each playthrough taking about 15 minutes, there’s plenty of reason to play again. The game also includes extra stories, save files, a list of endings, and unlockable art to encourage you to explore everything it has to offer.
