The movie Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle continues to be shown in theaters worldwide, and a new trailer has been released highlighting Zenitsu Agatsuma’s key role. The first film in a planned three-part series adapting the Infinity Castle arc from Koyoharu Gotoge’s manga has already been a huge success, and it shows no signs of losing momentum. The film will remain exclusive to theaters for the remainder of the year, but continues to be a cause for celebration after weeks of strong performance.
The new Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba movie, Infinity Castle, begins a three-part finale with the first major battle between the Demon Slayers and Muzan Kibutsuji’s remaining demons. This installment puts Zenitsu in the spotlight as he confronts a powerful new Upper Rank demon with a surprisingly personal connection. The fight is deeply emotional and pushes Zenitsu to his limits – you can see a preview in the trailer below.
Demon Slayer Kicks Off Zenitsu vs. Kaigaku
The trailer for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle revealed the surprising return of Kaigaku, now in a demonic form, as an opponent for Zenitsu. Voice actor Alejandro Saab shared with ComicBook that he was thrilled to reprise the role. Knowing the story, he’d hoped for Kaigaku’s return, and was grateful the filmmakers brought him back. He’s excited for fans to see what he and the team accomplished in Infinity Castle and has been eagerly anticipating its release.
Saab described how he prepared for his demon role by revisiting personal experiences of insecurity or feeling wronged. He explained that, like all actors, he draws on his own life to make his performances authentic and believable. He added a bit of intensity to those feelings, and while he doesn’t want to reveal too much, he’s thrilled with the result and encourages viewers to see the movie to understand what he means.
Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Taps Into New Side of Zenitsu
Aleks Le, the voice actor for Zenitsu, shared what he enjoys most about his work on the new movie: the chance to portray characters with complex personalities. He explained that these characters can be vastly different sides of the same coin, just like Zenitsu, who is often a frantic and loud ball of energy but can also be incredibly focused and calm when asleep.
Le described a significant change in the character, explaining that while he’s always been intense, he’s now fully present and aware. This combination creates a new and exciting dynamic that fans will enjoy. Also, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle is still playing in theaters, so it’s worth seeing if it’s showing near you.
