Demon Slayer Unveils New Look At Beloved Character Ahead of His Big Fight in Infinity Castle

Okay, huge warning: if you’re not caught up with the Demon Slayer manga, you might want to skip this! But as a massive fan, I have to talk about how incredible 2025 was for the series. The first part of the Infinity Castle arc absolutely blew everyone away, earning over 100 billion yen worldwide! It’s officially the highest-grossing anime film ever, easily beating out Mugen Train. The movie came out in Japan in July 2025 and then internationally in September, but we’re all still eagerly waiting for news on the second installment. The good news is the Blu-ray/DVD release date has been announced, so hopefully that means a streaming update won’t be too far behind! And to keep us hyped while we wait, the official anime website just dropped a stunning new image of Inosuke Hashibira – seriously, he looks amazing! It’s a great time to be a Demon Slayer fan.

To celebrate his birthday on April 22nd, a cute, chibi-style illustration of Demon Slayer’s character has been released. He’s depicted wearing a light-colored outfit and carrying a bouquet of blue flowers. Ufotable is also promoting new merchandise inspired by Inosuke’s birthday card, which you can find on their official online store.

Inosuke Will Have a Major Fight in Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Part 2

Inosuke first appeared during the Tzusumi Mansion Arc, which was the fourth story arc, and quickly became one of the central characters alongside Tanjiro and the others. The story has consistently shown his developing relationships and progress as a Demon Slayer. He was present at the Infinity Castle with all the other Demon Slayers and made a quick appearance in the first part of the movie. However, the movie itself mainly focused on three specific battles, and Inosuke wasn’t involved in any of them.

The movie concludes with the character ordering his crow to find a strong demon. Although he wasn’t a central figure in the first film, he’ll have a bigger role in the second, where he’ll battle Doma, one of the Upper Moon demons. He’ll team up with Kanao Tsuyuri, who was already fighting this powerful demon by herself. The series has already given clues about Inosuke’s upbringing in the mountains and the sad events surrounding his mother.

The second half of the film will explain everything that occurred in the past and reveal the demon connected to the main character. He’s facing his toughest battle yet, made even harder by the fact that no Hashira are supporting the younger Demon Slayers. Surprisingly, Inosuke and Tsuyuri have formed a strong partnership, even though they don’t usually fight together.
