In a statement provided to The Hollywood Reporter, Laura Dern shared the news of Diane Ladd’s death:
My wonderful mother, Diane Ladd, passed away peacefully at her home in Ojai, California, this morning. She was a truly remarkable woman – a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, and a talented actress and artist. Her kind and compassionate spirit was a gift to us all, and we feel so lucky to have had her in our lives. She’s now at peace.
