Jenny Seagrove will star in a new British thriller with Anna Friel (known from ‘Marcella’) and David Bradley (‘Doctor Who’ and ‘Harry Potter’). We’re excited to share a first look at the project.
The movie, called My Sister’s Bones, is adapted from the popular novel of the same title and has been labeled a suspenseful and unsettling mystery thriller.
Joining the cast are Ben Miles from ‘Andor,’ Olga Kurylenko of ‘Quantum of Solace,’ acclaimed actress and comedian Maggie Steed, and Filipino star Lovi Poe. You’ll be able to download it digitally starting Monday, February 23rd.
Here’s the movie poster, plus some early photos of the cast and a sneak peek clip featuring Seagrove.

The short video opens with Kate, played by Seagrove, slowly and sadly entering an empty bedroom. She then picks up a hairbrush and looks at herself in the mirror.
The reflection changes to show a different woman brushing a young girl’s hair, likely a memory from Kate’s past.
Suddenly, heavy footsteps approached, and the door burst open. A man’s angry voice yelled, “Gillian!” causing her to jump and look around, but the room was still empty.
Deep in thought – and clearly quite upset – she then sits herself down on the bed.
You can watch the clip in full at the top of this article.
After a war reporter returns home from Iraq, deeply affected by her experiences and grieving the loss of her mother, she begins to suspect something unsettling is going on next door.
I’m really hooked by this story – it’s about a woman who’s trying to figure out what’s actually happening, but it’s also a deep dive into her own history. She’s not just dealing with a potential danger in the present, she’s questioning if it’s all a result of things she’s gone through before. It’s brilliantly blurring the lines between what’s real and what’s inside her head.
