If you’re excited about Persona’s 30th anniversary, be prepared for a lot of merchandise – that was the main focus of Atlus’ first livestream.
As we shared before, the broadcast is scheduled for January 8th and will kick off a year of news and updates about the Persona series. Atlus has now clarified that the broadcast will focus on merchandise and upcoming events.
We might get a sneak peek at future events, possibly including more livestreams focused on the game, but this broadcast likely won’t offer much for typical fans unless they’re really interested in merchandise.

Honestly, should we even expect much from these updates celebrating the game’s 30th anniversary?
We’re almost certain to hear about a remake of Persona 4 eventually, but according to SEGA’s financial reports, it probably won’t be released until 2027.
Considering all of this, we’re not expecting Persona 6 or any big announcements until we understand what these broadcasts are showing us.
What are you hoping to see for Persona’s 30th anniversary? We expect to see a lot of discussion about merchandise in the comments!
