It was recently announced by publishers Koei Tecmo and developers Omega Force that a revamped version of the game “Dynasty Warriors” is being developed, along with significant additional content for “Dynasty Warriors: Origins”.
The new content for Dynasty Warriors was unveiled in the 25th anniversary trailer, which debuted at ChinaJoy 2025. The announcement of the remastered title begins with “Dynasty Warriors 9,” followed by counting down each numbered game to “Dynasty Warriors ?”, implying that this remastered game will be a main installment rather than a spin-off.
Details about the major downloadable content for Dynasty Warriors Origins were not announced.
Dynasty Warriors: Origins is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam.
