EA Sports UFC 6 Confirmed for July 19th, Ultimate Edition Includes 2 Post-Launch Expansions

Following rumors of an upcoming announcement, Electronic Arts has confirmed that EA Sports UFC 6 is officially in development and will be released on July 19th. Built using the Frostbite Engine, the game will be available on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5, but there’s currently no word on a PC release.

The publisher announced the Standard and Ultimate Editions of the game, featuring Alex Pereira on the cover of the Standard Edition and Max Holloway on the Ultimate Edition. The game itself costs $69.99, and those who pre-order will receive three fighter skins as a special bonus.

The Ultimate Edition costs $99.99 and offers all the standard benefits, plus a Fighter Pass. This pass unlocks two new characters immediately and six more as they become available. It also includes an Expansion Pass with two major expansions planned for this winter and summer 2027, adding new content like a brand-new game mode.

On top of everything else, the Rivalry Bundle includes a VIP Pass with awesome perks like five unique skins, three exclusive emojis, faster progress, and six VIP cosmetics. You’ll also get two fighter skins and 500 UFC points. Plus, if you pre-order, you can start playing seven days early!

Details about how the game will actually play are still limited, but Electronic Arts has said that EA Sports UFC 6 will feature improved striking and movement, plus new ways to experience the game’s story, making each fight feel more impactful. We’ll share more information as it becomes available.
