In about two weeks, Anthony Trueman is expected to return to Albert Square, as hinted by early previews for EastEnders, suggesting Patrick’s joy upon his son’s arrival.
In the year 2014, Anthony (Nicholas Bailey) made his final appearance in Walford after hastening to be with his ailing father, Patrick (Rudolph Walker), who had experienced a stroke.
Anthony (Nicholas Bailey) left Walford for the last time back in 2014 when he hurried to his father Patrick (Rudolph Walker), who was suffering from a stroke.
Initially, it was planned that Anthony would only stay temporarily for Patrick and Yolande’s upcoming wedding, but unexpectedly, his visit extended beyond the time he had anticipated.
On Monday, 25th August, Anthony is due to arrive, similarly to Lily Slater, albeit their arrival circumstances differ. It’s anticipated that Lily’s return might stir up the Slater family dynamics significantly as they adapt to her presence in The Vic.
As suggested by the weekly spoilers, Patrick initially feels pleased when Anthony turns up. However, his joy turns into shock once he discovers the truth.
In the latter two days, Howie finds himself under pressure just as Patrick makes an announcement.

Upon learning that Anthony would be returning, executive producer Ben Wadey hinted that as Anthony delves into the secrets of the Trueman household, his stay might extend beyond initial plans. This extension could potentially be linked to the incident involving Patrick’s attack.
A few days ago, Patrick was pushed down by Oscar Branning (Pierre Moullier), who had stolen Patrick’s winnings from a gambling session. This incident has been made known to Howie (Delroy Atkinson).
The BBC hinted that Patrick returned home but is grappling with anxiety, while Howie expresses remorse over his handling of the fallout following the event.
Bailey expressed delight in going back to EastEnders, feeling grateful for the chance to resume playing the character of Anthony once more, as stated in his announcement about returning to the BBC soap.
He went on to say, “Working with Rudolph Walker once more is delightful – he’s played a significant role in my acting career, and I greatly enjoyed filming our initial scenes together after such a long time.
I’m eager to discover how time has impacted Anthony and delve into their current bond with Patrick.
