As a devoted admirer, I’m deeply saddened to share that Eden Blackman, beloved from Celebs Go Dating, passed away at the tender age of 57 following a prolonged illness. His family has confirmed this heartbreaking news.
Blackman gained prominence as one of the initial dating consultants featured on the E4 reality show, where he worked alongside relationship experts Nadia Essex and Tom Read-Wilson.
I was deeply saddened to learn of his passing, as shared through a heartfelt post on his official Instagram account, written by his loved ones.
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our cherished Eden, who left us on June 21st, 2025, following a lengthy battle with illness. She displayed remarkable courage and dignity throughout her struggle.
Eden sparkled his way through life, combining wit, playfulness, and an unmatched personal flame, radiating charisma, fashion-forward, quick-witted, breathtakingly attractive, and constantly ready for excitement. The narrative went on.
He advocated for individuals with genuine warmth, humor, and motivation, constantly aiming to make others feel recognized at their finest moments.
Experiencing Eden was like getting drawn into an exciting spiral – lively, spontaneous, vibrant, and brimming with energy. He towered with grace, roared with joy, and lived in a way that was uniquely his own. His essence will forever be with us.
We kindly request some space as we navigate our grief, and we appreciate your compassion and support.
In March, Blackman made it public that he was leaving Celebs Go Dating, expressing a wish to dedicate his time to other endeavors instead.
As a passionate film enthusiast, I couldn’t be more thrilled about the triumph of our beloved series. Yet, after four fantastic seasons, it’s now time for me to wholeheartedly devote myself to my other creative pursuits.
I’m grateful to everyone at Lime Pictures and C4 for giving me this opportunity. It’s been an enjoyable experience, and with this being the highest-rated series yet, I hope they continue to achieve even greater success in the future.
Many celebrities who appeared on Celebs Go Dating expressed their condolences by commenting on a post, with Bobby Norris (from season 3) saying: “I’m deeply sorry to learn this… I will forever cherish the time we shared, both on camera and behind the scenes, during our three months filming Celebs Go Dating together, with love xx.
In a heartfelt tribute, the current relationship advisors on Celebs Go Dating, Paul C Brunson and Anna Williamson, honored the late star they followed, Blackman.
As a fellow film lover, I’m expressing my heartfelt sympathies and sending love. Though I never had the pleasure of meeting Eden personally, our bond was forged through Celebs Go Dating. His kindness towards me, even when it wasn’t required, is something I shall always cherish. May he find eternal peace.
In the meantime, Williamson expressed his sympathies saying, “I’m deeply saddened to learn about his demise. Eden had always been exceptionally kind and supportive towards me, and I genuinely mourn his loss. My heartfelt condolences are with his loved ones.
