As a die-hard admirer, I couldn’t help but jump into the fray when President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social about potentially revoking O’Donnell’s U.S. citizenship. Naturally, she responded, and now, I couldn’t resist weighing in with my own backing – just like Ellen DeGeneres did!

Accompanying screenshots of the exchange between Trump and O’Donnell on Instagram dated July 13, the ex-host of the Ellen DeGeneres Show (now residing in England with wife Portia de Rossi) acknowledged O’Donnell by tagging her and expressed approval with the words, “Well done.

While O’Donnell, who relocated to Ireland prior to Trump’s inauguration in January, chose to defend herself.

Ellen DeGeneres is showing support for O’Donnell, making their public appearance only a few months after O’Donnell confessed to their long-standing disagreement.

O’Donnell expressed to US Weekly during an April interview that it’s not about being adversarial towards each other; instead, we’re distinct individuals with unresolved issues from our past. We aren’t romantically or professionally involved in any way, but merely friends and comedians. I genuinely wish her well.

O’Donnell expressed surprise when she learned that DeGeneres actually went to England during Trump’s second term, as she had planned.
