Emilie Kiser is showing up to support a fellow mom.
Almost a year after the heartbreaking accidental drowning of her 3-year-old son, Trigg, the TikTok creator offered support to parenting influencer Kelly Hopton-Jones. Hopton-Jones recently shared that she accidentally drove over her toddler.
On Kelly’s Instagram post from April 15th, where she described how her 23-month-old son, Henry, broke his pelvis and suffered some scrapes, Emilie commented, “I’m so incredibly sorry.”
Kelly, who runs the online account Hillside Farmhouse, described what she called the most difficult day for her and her husband, Brian Hopton-Jones. She explained they were struggling to understand how something could have happened while they were present.
She expressed shock and deep sadness in her message. Despite the difficult situation, she also shared immense gratitude, believing her son would recover.
Emilie has publicly stated she takes “full accountability” for the death of Trigg, who was found unresponsive in the pool while her husband, Brady Kiser, was at home with their young son, Theodore, and their newborn baby.
In an August Instagram post, Emilie shared her feelings, writing that she wished she had done more to help him. She explained that coping with loss means taking things one step at a time—minute by minute, hour by hour, and day by day—and that she’s been trying her best to do just that since he passed away.
Since then, the 27-year-old has explained that her grief remains with her.

In a March Instagram post, Emilie shared her grief, explaining she struggles to describe her feelings beyond simply feeling ‘broken.’ She wrote that she deeply misses everything about the person she lost, particularly the happiness and positivity they brought into her life, according to People magazine.
Even though it’s still painful, she shared that seeing her son, Teddy, reminds her of Trigg every day. This brings her a sense of comfort, but also stirs up a lot of complex feelings.
