The specific aspects concerning the demise of Emilie Kiser‘s son, Trigg Kiser, won’t be disclosed to the general public.
Two weeks following the decision by prosecutors not to indict Brady Kiser, the husband of the influencer, on child abuse charges related to their 3-year-old’s drowning in May, the Arizona Superior Court for Maricopa County granted Emilie’s request to seal two pages from a Chandler Police Department report pertaining to the tragic incident.
In a document dated August 8th, which TopMob News obtained, Judge Christopher Whitten stated that the transcripts related to the disputed sections are unnecessary for public accountability. He further explained that their disclosure would primarily fulfill an insatiable curiosity rather than serve any meaningful purpose.
In response, Shannon Clark, Emilie’s lawyer, expressed gratitude towards Judge Whitten for skillfully considering the significant factors involved and permitting a limited yet substantial removal of two pages from the Chandler police report, which conceal the grim details surrounding Trigg’s last moments.
In simpler terms, the attorney explained to TopMob News on August 8 that these redactions did not change any significant details about the accident. However, they were made to preserve the respect due to a young boy, ensuring that his memory is remembered as a beacon of love and light in the world.
In mid-July, Emilie’s lawyers petitioned for the removal of certain pages, claiming that information on them could potentially be manipulated to generate upsetting content related to Trigg (who tragically died six days following the incident) using AI technology, according to court papers reviewed by People.
Michael Kelley, an attorney for The Arizona Republic newspaper, argued in court documents that Emilie’s request would also omit information and context essential for the public to grasp a comprehensive understanding of the drowning investigation, the police department’s decision to propose criminal charges, and the county attorney’s choice not to pursue them.

On May 12, Trigg found himself at home with his father Brady and their new family member, Theodore. Unfortunately, that day, Trigg drowned in the swimming pool located in their backyard. Emergency responders quickly transported the toddler to the hospital, but despite their best efforts, he passed away from his injuries six days later on May 18.
As an ardent admirer, I can’t help but share the latest update on the case. Despite the Chandler police submitting a report suggesting a Class 4 felony charge of child abuse against Brady due to Trigg’s unfortunate demise, our county attorney Rachel Mitchell expressed that her office will refrain from pursuing this charge. The reason being, according to her, there simply isn’t a reasonable chance of securing a conviction.
As a dedicated follower of the investigation, I can share that the events leading up to the unfortunate incident were revealed by surveillance footage outside the home. This video offered a clear account of how the drowning occurred. Subsequently, after a thorough examination of all available evidence, the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office decided not to proceed with the case.
