If you usually watch Emmerdale on ITV1 at its regular time, it won’t be on tonight (Tuesday, September 23rd). The show’s schedule has been changed.
Tonight’s episode will start at 7pm instead of the usual 7:30pm. This is because ITV1 will be showing the Liverpool versus Southampton football match live at 8pm.
Mark Pougatch will present footage of the third-round match, a repeat of last season’s encounter between the two teams.
Okay, so as a big Emmerdale watcher, I was a little worried when I heard about the schedule change, but thankfully it’s just for one night! Everything goes back to normal tomorrow, so no need to rearrange your whole week around it. Phew!
You can now watch the episode on ITVX if you want to see it before it airs on TV.

In the newest episode, Ruby discovers Caleb is secretly leaving, which leads to a hidden plan and draws Cain into the situation.
The episode finishes with a shocking twist and leaves you wanting more, but you’ll need to watch it or read our breakdown to discover the outcome.
Following last night’s episode, John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) was shown blackmailing Caleb Miligan (William Ash) in an attempt to avoid being caught and punished for his actions.
He told Caleb that he was the only one who knew the location of Anthony Fox’s (Nicholas Day) remains, and urged him to assist John in escaping the country.
Cain Dingle, upset about Nate’s death, lashed out at Aaron. At the same time, Liam Cavanagh was coping with the consequences of his father, John, working at the doctor’s office.
