Adam Thomas recently posted a photo showing his return to the Emmerdale set, a role he left from ITV soap seven years ago.
I shared a picture on my Instagram, where I’m seen standing beside the famous Emmerdale sign, giving a thumbs-up. The post was accompanied by the excited exclamation: “I’m back!!!
Thomas portrayed Adam Barton on the soap opera for nearly a decade, debuting in 2009 and eventually departing dramatically in January 2018 following an incident where he falsely confessed to murdering Emma Barton to shield his mother Moira Dingle, who was actually responsible.
Previously, the character was observed escaping from a prison vehicle during his sentencing day. It’s currently believed that he has relocated overseas.
After departing from the soap opera, Thomas has gained significant recognition for his roles, especially in the remake of Waterloo Road, where he reappeared as Donte Charles, a character he initially played during the initial series.
