Emmys 2025: White Lotus’ Parker Posey Confirms Season 4 Location

Even though he’s not at the Emmys 2025, Mike White is still living a very comfortable life.

Parker Posey, who starred as Victoria Ratliff in the third season of the HBO series, revealed to Heather McMahan from *Live From TopMob: 2025 Emmys* at the awards show on September 14th that the next season will be filmed in the south of France. The 56-year-old actress, nominated for an Emmy for her role in the HBO series, said she doesn’t know if her character will return for the next season. She simply stated, “I have no idea if I’m in it.”

Each season of *The White Lotus* takes place at a made-up hotel in a different part of the world-Hawaii for the first season, Italy for the second, and Thailand for the third. However, show creators recently suggested the fourth season might be set in a location already featured on the show.

HBO programming executive Francesca Orsi told Deadline in February that they’ll be scouting locations over the next few weeks. While she wouldn’t reveal specifics, she indicated the filming will likely take place somewhere in Europe.

The show might be changing not just its locations, but also its distinctive visual style.

Okay, so Mike just *told* us, in this HBO Max video from April, that he’s finally moving away from all that ‘crashing waves against rocks’ imagery! I mean, it was beautiful, don’t get me wrong, but honestly, it felt like it was everywhere in season three. He wants to try something different, and I am SO ready for it! It’s like he *read my mind* – I was hoping he’d shake things up a bit, and he totally is!

Still, the 55-year-old noted, “There’s always room for more murders in the White Lotus hotels.”
