The Switch 2 undeniably represents an exceptional device, significantly outperforming its predecessor, the original console.
But given its form factor and handheld functionality, it’s not a PS5.
During this past Nintendo Direct, it was demonstrated how Resident Evil Requiem appears on Nintendo’s platform, as showcased in the most recent trailer by Capcom.
Now Sony has released a new version of the PS5 trailer, allowing you to relish the footage once more, this time with a more atmospheric lighting effect and an enhanced visual presentation.

Although the Switch 2 model seems satisfactory, it’s undeniably less impressive compared to Sony’s system. The most noticeable difference is in the portrayal of character Grace Ashcroft’s extravagant hair, which experiences a significant reduction in quality.
The lighting, which really shines in this game, is noticeably distinct in comparison, offering less depth and fine details than it does on PlayStation 5.
Certainly, it’s clear that the scalability of the RE Engine benefits Capcom significantly, allowing many gamers to delightfully experience the game on the Switch 2. This is by no means a negative aspect.
Undeniably, the journey will feel more captivating on the PS5 due to its enhanced graphics, which significantly boost the feeling of being engrossed in the game.
