Enola Holmes 3 reveals first look trailer as Millie Bobby Brown’s heroine prepares to wed

Netflix has released the first trailer for Enola Holmes 3, signaling Millie Bobby Brown’s return to the role.

Following a week of hints and previews, the trailer for Enola Holmes 3 is finally here! It seems Enola has one final mystery to solve before her wedding to Lord Tewkesbury (Louis Partridge).

Enola Holmes travels to Malta, following a trail of clues in a new Netflix mystery described as her most dangerous case yet.

With the clock ticking until she’s set to say her vows, will she make it down the aisle in time?

The movie will be available on Netflix starting July 1st! You can watch the trailer now for a first look.

Early previews hinted at trouble for Enola and Tewkesbury, and recent posters confirm it: one image shows Enola in her wedding dress, armed with a shotgun while standing on top of a train car.

Another image depicts Tewkesbury seated outside the church while people wait for services, looking unhappy with his head in his hands.

The tagline adds to the mystery, ending with a puzzling question – “Tis I Do?” – which makes fans wonder if the couple will stay together.

I’m really excited about this new film! What struck me most from what the director, Brown, said is that Enola Holmes is really coming into her own. She’s becoming a much more defined character, but it’s fascinating because she’s still growing and changing. It feels like we’re seeing her truly evolve, and that’s what I love about this next chapter.

She’s achieved a lot on her own, which is really impressive, but she’s now figuring out what she wants to do with her life next, and I think a lot of people feel that way too.

Henry Cavill returns as Sherlock Holmes, Enola’s famous brother, and is joined by Himesh Patel as Dr. John Watson, Sherlock’s partner. Helena Bonham Carter reprises her role as their eccentric mother, Eudoria Holmes, and Sharon Duncan-Brewster plays the villainous Moriarty in this new installment.

I’m really excited about this new movie! It’s written by Jack Thorne, who I absolutely loved for his work on ‘Adolescence,’ and it’s Philip Barantini’s debut as a director – a fresh voice I’m eager to see!

In a February interview with Radio Times’ Writers Room, Millie Thorne hinted at her plans for the future, explaining she had more stories to tell with Enola Holmes. She wanted to explore a different aspect of British society with the next installment.

I used to see Enola Holmes as a convenient tool for learning about what life was like in 19th-century Britain.

He explained that the first film focused on changes to land and voting laws, the second on the rise of labor unions, and the third on the story of our country’s colonial past.

I’m really excited by the challenge of bringing all these different aspects together – creating a film that feels like a Phil Barantini production, and also writing specifically for Millie’s talents.
