Epic Games Store is currently giving away a free game, and it’s perfect for players who enjoy teaming up with friends. Throughout December 2025 and into January 2026, the store has been offering a free PC game each day. They’ve already given away popular titles like Hogwarts Legacy, The Callisto Protocol, Disco Elysium, and Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. While this week’s freebie might not be as well-known, it’s definitely worth checking out.
From today, December 26th, until tomorrow, December 27th at 11:00 AM Eastern Time, the Epic Games Store is offering We Were Here Together as a free download. This 2019 game is the third in the We Were Here series, created by Total Mayhem Games. Like the other games in the series, We Were Here Together focuses on teamwork. Players must communicate and solve puzzles together to escape a mysterious castle in a frozen landscape.

Even though We Were Here Together isn’t widely known, it’s actually a very well-received game. Players on Steam have given it a “Very Positive” rating, and it has a score of 77/100 on Metacritic. This is one of the highest scores in the We Were Here series, making Together the best place to start if you’re interested in trying it out.

We don’t yet know which game will be free next on the Epic Games Store. Epic Games doesn’t announce these free games ahead of time, so we have to wait and see what’s offered each day. As soon as we find out what the free game will be for December 27th, we’ll share the news here on ComicBook.
